Ahead of the release of his latest film ‘Dilwale,’ King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan apologized for his “growing intolerance” remark on a news show. Shah Rukh Khan on his 50th birthday sparked controversy when he spoke about religious intolerance in India and the Dadri lynching. He was the first one from Bollywood to make a comment on the “growing intolerance” in India.
SRK made an apology for his comment on ABP News’ Special Show Press Conference, and he said, “There is no intolerance in India, all is fine.” Talking on ABP news, SRK said that he apologises for his statement if it hurts someone’s sentiments. He also said that he hasn’t faced any intolerance in the country and has never spoken about it.
Earlier while talking to ABP about the Aamir Khan controversy SRK said that he has got everything from the country. He further added, “I tell my children that don’t make judgements about religion and other small issues. These are normal things and everybody does that. But sometimes, people quote out of context. This doesn’t mean there is intolerance for me in the country.”
