SSC CGL Tier-1 New Exam Dates, Time Table, Official Schedule & Admit Cards Soon! Recruiting body of staffs under Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is yet to release a new schedule for SSC CGL Tier 1 written examinations. And, as soon as the schedule is out, Board of Controller of Examinations, SSC is expected to release Official Admit Cards for Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 Examinations.

According to old Notification release couple of months back, online examinations were supposed to be held from 25th July 2018 to 20th August 2018. But, following some administrative reasons, delay in tests has been observed. Staff Selection Commission is reportedly expected to release a large number of vacancies in Group B and Group C in various ministries and departments this year (or next).

For most of the vacant posts, job aspirants have to go through all four tiers of the selection procedure. SSC CGL Tier 1 is conducted for total 200 marks and 100 questions from four section mentioned below. It is an online CBT (Computer Based Test). Mostly financial and economical domain jobs aspirants appear for Tier 2 as it contains questions from statistics, general studies, English language and comprehension, quantitative abilities section.

SSC CGL Tier 1 question paper will be designed from four sections i.e. General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. General Intelligence incorporates – Classification, Analogy, Coding-Decoding, Puzzle, Matrix, Word Formation, Venn Diagram, Direction and Distance, Blood Relations, Series, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

General Awareness Section mainly includes – people in the news, portfolios, important schemes, Books and Authors, Sports, Current Affairs, Science, Static General Knowledge (Indian History, Culture etc.). Quantitative Aptitude section incorporates Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Time and Work, Data Interpretation, Mensuration, Number System, Speed, Distance and Time, Problems on Ages, Ration and Proportion, Percentage, Averages, Interest and Simplification.
