Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. Sub-Inspector (MALE) – Total 97posts available.

Sub-Inspector(Female) – Total 53 posts available.

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF – Total 1073 posts available.

Age Limit To Apply For CPO:

For General Category: Age limit for the posts of SI and ASI In Delhi Police, CAPFs and CISF is 20-25 years as on Jan 1st, 2018.

As per Indian Govt. Rules Reserved categories must get Relaxation so according to that here are the Age limits for Reserved Categories.

Age Limit For OBC Category: 20-28 years.

Age Limit For SC/ST Category – 20-30 Years.

Educational Requirements.

Bachelor Degree From Any Recognized University or It’s Equivalent.

One more thing for the candidates applying for the job of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police must have a valid driving license for LMV( Motor Cycle and Car) by the date of Physical endurance and standard tests.Male Candidates without Valid Driving License will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance Test. Those who don’t have a valid driving license can apply for rest of the CAPF posts.

Payscale of The Posts:

Sub Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs): This post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/-) This post is classified under Group ‘B’ ( Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial Service.

Sub Inspector In Delhi Police: This post also carries pay scale of Level 6 in which the candidate gets paid between (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/-) though it’s classified under Class ‘C’ Non Gazetted by Delhi Police.

Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF: This comes under Level -5 pay scale in which the candidate gets paid between (Rs. 29,200-92,300), And it is also classified under Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted service.
