Subramanian Swamy Takes Down Rajdeep Sardesai’s Hospital Idea In Epic Manner, Rajdeep Didn’t Give Back And Got Into War Of Words
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government is all set to install a 100-metre statue of Lord Rama on banks of the River Saryu, the site is not far from the controversial Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi area. UP Government also wants to organize a grand Diwali this time in Ayodhya by illuminating the town and lighting 1.71 lakh earthen dipas.
They are spending a whopping amount of Rs. 195.89 crore to build the statue of Lord Rama. Though this move has got a huge appreciation, there are even a few who didn’t like the idea of the Lord Rama Statue. Instead, they insisted to spend such a huge amount on poor people or building a hospital in the city.
Upon learning the announcement of the government, a lot of people tweeted their reactions. One among them was news reporter Rajdeep Sardesai. He took to Twitter to share his opinion on the thought of building Lord Rama Statue. His tweet resulted in a war of words between him and Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha and senior leader of BJP Subramanian Swamy.
With more than 5 million followers, Subramanian Swamy is, in fact, one of the most popular Indian politicians on Twitter. His tweets get a lot of public attention because of the quips and intellect in them.
Rajdeep Sardesai that instead of building the statue, the government should consider building a world-class hospital in Gorakhpur using the same money. His tweet read, “IMHO: A 100 meter Ram statue in Ayodhya bad idea; use the same money to build a world-class hospital in Gorakhpur..”

Taking the opportunity to make some comments in bad taste, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy decided to tweet back. He tweeted, ” For those e.g Rajdeep who want hospital on Ramjanmabhoomi I suggest a mental hospital 10 km across Saryu River with a window to see the temple.”

This led to word war between the two and Rajdeep didn’t give up. He replied saying, “Sure sir, but only if we can stay together in a double room!”

Of course, Swamy had to react once again, and this time, he needed to pull in Rajdeep’s wife in too while responding to a question. He wrote, ” Rajdeep’s obvious roommate. But he does not seem to want her around judging by his subsequent tweet.”

In no time, Twitterati hailed Swamy for his wit.

He doesn’t deserve a new hospital. A old Veterinary hospital is enough.
