Telangana Govt To Host Country’s Tallest & Largest National Flag In Hyderabad

On the Bank`s of Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad, the India`s largest national flag on tallest flag post will be hoisted. K. Chandra Shekar Rao, Telangana Cheif Minister ordered the officials to arrange 301 feet tall pole at Batukamma Ghat on banks of the lake.

Rajiv Sharma the chief secretary is taking care of the arrangements to install the tallest pole and prepare largest national flag in the country. At present, there is a largest tricolor flag in Ranchi ar Pahari Mandir or Fansi Dungri which is 66 feet in height, 99 feet in width and stands on 293 feet tall pole.

KCR says this will be a good step to promote a sense of patriotism among citizens. He also decided to construct Telangana Martyrs memorial on banks of Hussain Sagar lake which divides the twin cities namely Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

In 12 acres of land is allotted to develop a park which highlights of the sacrifices of martyrs of Telangana state and leaders of it. This memorial also showcases Telangana`s history, culture, literature, arts, and personalities.

On June 2nd, KCR is going to lay foundation stone in celebrating the second anniversary of the formation of Telangana State. CM is reviewing the arrangement time to time for these celebrations. He also directed officials to organize special events in the state capital, districts headquarters and also at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.

Chief Minister KCR announced 125 feet statue of B. R. Ambedkar will be installed near Hussain Sagar which will the tallest statue of the architect of Indian constitution.
