With the days passing, we’re only going worse in terms of moral values. These days one cannot pass a day or turn a news paper’s page without acknowledging a molestation or rape incident. After all, a surprising growth is observed in the number of assault cases recently. Despite the strong amendments and stud transformations, authorities are simply unable to tackle the issue persistently.
Though there are certain incidents in which women take the adverse advantage of the leniency of laws that are bluntly against men, there are no unconventional possibilities in the majority of situations.Starting from the assault case that shocked everyone which has happened in Kerala’s Kozhikode, a teen was beaten up in Mumbai’s streets. Now, after all, another saddening incident has taken place in Gurugram and this is far beyond our minimal or basic ethics.
After all such kind of incidents, now in Jhansi’s Lalitpur, a class 9 student was cornered by her teacher and raped in the school toilet. As per the reports, it is believed that she remained calm for two days as she was threatened. Last Saturday, she attempted suicide after writing about the rape. Her family came across the suicide letter. And later rushed her to the hospital upon finding her unconscious with a poisonous substance in hand.
This terrible incident has taken place at Maheroni’s Sardar Patel Inter College. The 13-year-old Renu told that the rape took place on December 20. Around 12 noon, she left the classroom for the toilet after the third period. Her English teacher Rajkumar, 45, cornered her there and raped her in the toilet. When she started to shout for help, he gagged her mouth with his hand and threatened with dire consequences if she told anyone.
“He gagged my mouth when I cried for help”, Renu says about Rajkumar alias Kullu. The victim’s mother told that after school she reached home but did not tell anyone for two days due to fear. The news came out only on 23 December, at 5 in the morning when the letter written by Renu is found.

Talking about the whole incident, Maharoni Kotwal Jaiprakash Ram said, “The matter has been reported. The police are going to get the statement of the victim to investigate. As soon as the complaint is lodged, further action will be taken.”
