EAMCET stands for the Engineering And Medicine Common Entrance Test which is conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of  TSSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education). This examination is the entrance test for entry into a variety of professional courses offered in Government/Private colleges in the state of Telangana.  After applying for EAMCET you need to prepare a study time table and you must have to know about some preparation tips. The marks scored in EAMCET carry 75 percent weight age and the Intermediate marks have 25 percent weight age while deciding the final rank of a candidate. The strategy that the students follow for the preparation of EAMCET 2015 (Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test) determines their success or failure in this exam.

EAMCET, engineering examination will be conducted for a total of 160 marks. 80 marks will be allotted to Mathematics, 40 for Physics and 40 for Chemistry. 160 Questions will be asked and candidates have to answers them in the duration of 3 hours.

  • Speed is the familiarity, more knowledge with concepts and formulae leads to more speed.
  • Don’t try to touch new topics as they will take time, you will also lose your confidence on the topics that you had ready already.
  • In EAMCET either one or two questions will be asked from each topic of every subject, hence students have to give equal preference to all topics and sections.
  • Equal preference will be given to the Intermediate first year and second year syllabus. Speed of answering and exactness should be developed.
  • Take good rest after along preparation (say 30 min break for every 3 hours of continuous preparation). That will keep your mind and body healthy.
  • Practicing of more grand tests will be helpful.
  • As there are no criteria for compulsorily scoring some minimum marks in any subject, hence students have to work-hard for scoring more marks in the subject in which they have good knowledge.
  • EAMCET exam students should maintain a calm and cool mind state as the exam demands confidence, speed, and accuracy.
  • Practice as many previous year’s practice papers as you can with this you would be increasing your speed of solving the questions and with more accuracy
