Twitter has become one of the nice social networking platforms for the people to share the information and also solve few problems. Especially, Twitter has become very useful for the people travelling in the Indian Railways. The Railway Ministry taking care of everyone and solving the problems swiftly by just sending tweets to the concerned department and getting the problem solved.
In a recent incident, Twitter helped the Indian Railway Ministry to sue an Employee who was corrupted. With just one tweet, the corrupted TTE was sued.
One Tweet Sued The TTE:
An angry passenger Narayan tweeted out that a TTE was openly asking for bribes from the passengers to provide them with a seat. He was travelling to Bikaner. His one tweet to the Ministry of Railways changed the life of the TTE.

Hence, the Divisional Railway manager (DRM) spoke to Govind and Vigilance Officer Mukesh Gehlot, who boarded the train and took an immediate action. Govind said that “the TTE in question, Shyamal was asking for money from the passengers for seats and no one asked him for receipts when I did he denied and on insisting he said that he would give me one on the way.”

The TTE was asked to get off the train at Merta station, all his books were checked and orders were passed to suspend the guilty. Govind Narayan said:
“I could not see this happening. I knew about the procedure of tweeting to the ministry of railways so I chose to complain there.”
This immediate action by DRM and Suresh Prabhu strengthened faith in people when it comes to taking action on such corrupt employees.
