Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the finest actors in the industry and his versatility is absolutely gripping. Most often, his best films have failed to win awards at prestigious award functions. In the world of Kapoors and Khans, a hard working Kumar has often been underrated.
In fact, his wife, Twinkle Khanna had teased him by saying it’s good he never attends an awards function since he never gets one!
Breaking this stereotypes, Akshay Kumar finally won the ‘Best Actor’ at the64th National Awards for the movie Rustom. Well, the news is a pretty good one especially for all the Akshay Kumar fans out there.
But, seems like, Twitterati was in no mood to accept that Akshay deserved a ‘best actor’ award, especially because there were more deserving contenders.
People could not really digest the fact that Akshay Kumar can win a National Award. Not because they doubt the actor’s talent. But people on Twitter found it very hard to believe that he could have won it for a movie like ‘Rustom’.
Here are some of the golden reactions:

Saif Ali Khan’s award was a bit surprising TBH
Akshay Kumar got National Award for Rustom. Saif Ali Khan today must be feeling proud of the National Award he got for Hum Tum.

It’s a valid point. Which award is a sham?
Akshay Kumar wasn’t even nominated at Filmfare, while he won the National award for best actor. The juries must be from different planets.

Whether he deserved it or not is moot at this point.
But it is interesting to see all the humorous perspective Twitter has to present to the Internet. Twitterati was quick to judge Akshay Kumar, but we wish him a big CONGRATULATIONS for his mega win!
