On Monday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu formally inaugurated the state’s interim government complex (Temporary Secretariat) in Velagapudi, Guntur district. As there is no other auspicious ‘muhurtam’ in near future, the Chief Minister completed the formalities on Monday morning at 4:01 am amid Vedic chants and a Ganapati ‘homam’ (religious ritual). Naidu opened a new room in 4th floor constructed by Shapoorji Pallonji and Larsen & Toubro.
After the inauguration ceremony, Naidu gave a speech and interacted with the people who attended the ceremony. He even answered many questions raised by a common man over Land Acquisition.

On the occasion, Naidu also announced that additional 50 square yards of land would be given to farmers of the region who parted with their lands under the Land Pooling Scheme for the development of the capital.
