In a gruesome incident in Itarsi district of Madhya Pradesh, a man was tied to a train’s window and beaten up following an altercation over drinking water without permission. The victim, identified as Sumit Kachi, a resident of Jabalpur was stripped and beaten up mercilessly by three men after his father, Raghunath Kachi drank water that belonged to a fellow passenger.
The incident took place on March 25. In the video that has gone viral, Sumit is seen hanging by the window as the three men are seen beating him up with a belt.

What is more horrific is that the man remained in the same state for distance of as much as 200 KM between Itarsi and Jabalpur station. The authorities and other passengers acted as mute onlookers while the brutality was taking place. The person was only rescued by some station vendors when the train arrived at the destination.
The police have lodged FIR against the three persons involved in the incident. However, there has been no report of any arrest so far.
