The Times Now Newshour Debate is undoubtedly one of the most popular shows on Indian TV news, albeit ridiculed. Popular because it manages to ask the right questions on issues that matter to the nation and ridiculed because 99 percent of the time it’s the host who is talking. The Newshour host Arnab Goswami has been becoming an international troll. After having his case taken by almost every parody maker in India, it’s about time he went international. BuzzFeed recently made a video in which a bunch of Americans were shown the now-infamous spat between Arnab Goswami and Subramanian Swamy. What happened next will leave you in splits.

One girl giggled continuously and then managed to say, “I would have totally watched American news if it was this hilarious.” Others revel at Subramaniam Swamy’s scream-fest. One of the men said, “I wish he were my dad.” And one man even said, “Is this News?” Towards the conclusion of the video, one woman, freaks out when she is told that Swamy studied at Harvard University.
