Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination 2015 (VITEEE 2015) PHASE – I counselling have been declared by VIT University. The VIT University has published the rank-wise dates of VITEEE 2015 counselling for Phase – I on its official website. VITEEE-2015 exam will held from today 8th April to 19th April, 2015 but the University has already released the counselling dates for Phase – I on which particular rank holders have to report. Counselling Dates – PHASE – I:
VIT Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted every year for admissions to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme. This Year also VIT University is conducting VITEEE-2015 exam for the academic year 2015-16. The VITEEE scores are used for admissions to engineering programmes offered by the university at two of its branches that include Vellore and Chennai.
VITEEE-2015 Counselling procedure:
- The counselling will be held for the short listed candidates having All India Ranks in the VITEEE for the allocation of branches
- The venue for counselling will be at VIT University Vellore campus and Chennai campus in Tamil Nadu. Counselling will be held simultaneously in Vellore and Chennai.
- Candidate can attend counselling in Vellore OR Chennai and choose the branch offered / available in Vellore or Chennai campus.
- Candidates have to attend the counselling according to their ranks secure in the examination.
- Shortlisted Candidates can opt for counselling in either Vellore or Chennai and must submit their choice of the VITEEE 2015 Counselling centre.
VITEEE 2015 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates will have 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) to write the paper. The test will cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. There will be 120 questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) – 40 questions each. Similarly, there will be 120 questions on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) – 40 questions each. For marking correction option, 1 mark will be allocated to the candidates.
