WATCH: IT Minister Sri KT Rama Rao Speaking At The Launch Of Apple Development Centre In Hyderabad

After Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, now it’s the turn for smartphone giant ‘Apple’ who have queued up to have their second largest development centres, outside the USA, in Hyderabad. The Apple company’s New Development Center was inaugurated on 19th May in Hyderabad with the CEO of Apple INC., Tim Cook himself gracing the occasion. Telangana Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao also attended the inaugural function.

The dynamic IT minister KTR’s smart and quirky speech stood as an impressive act at the inaugural function, where he smartly covered all the points he wanted to with Tim Cook making it public and also seemed to have gained Mr. Cook’s interest. KTR speaking about Apple company expressed thankfulness for selecting Hyderabad as the best place in India to start APPLE’s new development center that will focus on its Maps product.

KTR also explained the State’s Industrial Policy to Mr. Cook and also said that the new state of Telangana was open to expansion of more Apple centers with further manufacturing units that would come in the future. He offered that Telangana is open to partner with Apple in its growth which would mutually benefit the company as well as the state.
