A 21-year-old father from Louisiana, USA, killed his 6-month old son after throwing him to the ground and slammed his head on a metal bar.
Brian Young, the ruthless father, admitted that he abused Kaisen Young, his son.
He is currently facing first-degree murder charges.
Court reports say that the incident, which happened in Mandeville, Louisiana, happened when the mother of the 6-month-old was working.
The mother reportedly called the police and emergency services at 5 pm on Thursday after Young called her and told her that the baby had stopped breathing.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office the 6-month-old boy was rushed to a hospital, where doctors said that his injuries were consistent with child abuse.
Dr. Charles Preston, a doctor that handled the case of little Kaisen, said:
“As heinous as this is, no further details will be released at this time because it is an open, active homicide investigation.”
After being arrested, Young threw the baby on the floor multiple times and into a swing set, where the ruthless father stuck the head of the infant on the metal bar.
Sheriff Randy Smith of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office said:
“This was an innocent and helpless baby. The idea that his precious life was taken by his own father is incomprehensible. I applaud our deputies and detectives who worked this very sad case.”
The baby died on the morning of April 19, 2020.
Young was arrested on Saturday and was charged with second-degree cruelty to juveniles.
Court records say that Young was booked on one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of a Minor after narcotics were found inside the house of the father.
The police did not share the official death cause of 6-mont-old Kaisen.
