Javonni was reportedly recording TikTok videos with his 2 siblings when a gunman in a car started shooting into a crowd of people outside.

Keyona Carson, the mother of the boy, said:

My other two kids were there too, and they saw everything. Someone just drove by and started shooting.

2 other people, men, were hit in the hand and buttocks respectively.

A total of 42 spent shell casings were recovered by the authorities from the scene.

Investigations revealed that 5 cars in the area were hit by the bullets.

A dark vehicle could be seen driving through the parking lot before a passenger could be seen pulling out a gun and open firing.

During an interview with the press, Carson, the mother of the victim, said:

My 11-year-old said he was trying to crawl over to [Javonni], but there were already so many people on the ground. I didn’t know anything until I got to the hospital. I just knew he’d been shot.

No arrests have been made so far.

Jovanni, the 9-year-old boy, went through surgery so doctors could repair his shattered femur and is recovering at a hospital.

He is currently recovering with doctors saying he will be alright
