A man from France could be executed by a firing squad in Indonesia after he is being accused of molesting over 300 children and beating those refused to have sex with him.
The police said that they arrested 65-year-old Francois Abello Camille in a hotel room in Jakarta, Indonesia after they discovered 2 underaged girls inside his room.
The elderly man is facing death by a firing squad or life in prison if he gets convicted on the raft of charges – including accusations he filmed the illicit encounters – under Indonesia’s child protection laws, said the DailyMail.
Not only that, but investigators also found a number of videos on the laptop of Camille.
Videos and other media content showed him performing illegal sex acts on hundreds of children that are aged between 10 and 17.
The pensioner entered the country on a tourist visa on a number of occasions in a span of 5 years.
Jakarta police chief Nana Sudjana said:
He would approach children and lure them by offering them work as models. The ones who agreed to have sex with him would get paid between 250,000 and one million rupiah ($17-70). Those who didn’t want to have sex would be beaten, slapped and kicked by the suspect.
Images and videos that are viral on social media right now show Camille with his head bowed as he is flanked by 10 police officers from Indonesia.
According to the police, they believe that Camille had been molesting Indonesian children for years.
They also believe that there could be more victims.
