Girl Left With Shattered Skull After Being Hit By Champagne Bottle That Was Thrown From Top Of Skyscraper
A 4-year-old girl from Russia had her skull shattered after a champagne bottle that was thrown from the top of a skyscraper hit her on the head.
The 4-year-old is currently in a life-threatening condition in a hospital.
Reports suggested that she was hit on the head by the glass bottle, which got thrown from the 23rd floor of a high rise building.
It was later revealed that the bottle has been inside a rubbish bag that a 6-year-old boy dropped from 2:30 pm.
The girl was struck on the head as she was walking with her family in Krasnogorsk, which is located in Moscow.
The entire incident was caught on cam.
The father of the girl, who is a doctor, said:
We had walked literally five metres from our entrance.
He and his wife and their 4 children were on an evening walk when debris started to rain from the sky.
He said:
Our youngest child suddenly fell to the ground. She was hit on her head by a champagne bottle.
After the bottle hit the head, the daughter fell to the ground and passed out in the arms of her father.
She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors found out that her skull was broken.
The girl, whose identity was not shared with the public, is currently in a grave condition.
The father of the girl, who works as a urologist, said that the 4-year-old daughter is showing signs of regaining her senses.
The police found out that children that are aged 6, 7, and 8 were playing on the 23rd-floor balcony and discovered a rubbish bag leftover from a party.
Tatiana Petrova, the spokeswoman, said:
The mother explained that his son had some friends round to play, and one of them threw the garbage bag.
The kid who threw the trash bag said that he didn’t want to throw it, however, the bag slipped out of his hands.
During an interview with the police, the kid said that he wants the 4-year-old girl to come and hit him.
A criminal case has been opened for the incident.
The child is below the age of criminal responsibility, this means that his parents could face prosecution for the negligence that they had shown.
