A 14-year-old boy from China is so tall that he is now the world’s tallest male teenager.

According to a report that was published by CGTN, Ren Keyu is a student at a junior high school in the city of Leshan, which is located in the Sichuan Province of China.

He was confirmed as the world’s tallest male teenager by the Guinness World Records through a post on their website.

I mean, he is tall.

According to official reports, the measurement process was carried out back in October this year.

A Guinness Official visited Ren at his house in China.

Ren Keyu is currently 221.03 centimeters tall.

The Guinness World Records said in a statement that they are confirming that Ren is the tallest male under the age of 18 as of now.

According to numerous reports, the 14-year-old boy is so tall that his family had to order special furniture for him so he could fit properly.

He also has a customized deck to study.

Talking about his condition and how tall he is, Ren said:

Since I have entered school, I have noticed that I am taller than the other kids at my age.  Many students were mistaking me as a fellow from the senior generation. That did disturb me but I decided to make it something positive by applying to Guinness to see if I could get the world record.

The record was previously held by a teenager that lives in the USA.

Kevin Bradford was over 5cm shorter than Ren in his teenage years.
