DFCCIL Recruitment 2018: 1572 Executive, Jr. Executive, MTS Posts

Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India released a notification following which, the department is looking for executive, Junior Executive and MTS (Multi Tasking Staff). There are a total of 1572 vacancies for which, online registration of applications to be commenced from 1st August and will be ended up on 31st August. The corporation has also instructed that the exams will tentatively be arranged from 1st to 5th October.

DFCCIL Recruitment 2018 Selection Procedure

For Executives and Junior Executives, the final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Computer Based examination while for the MTS posts, a Physical Efficiency Test will also be conducted after Computer based test. For PET, male candidates need to cover 100 meters distance in two minutes carrying 35 kg weight while 20 Kg for female candidates. Apart from this, male candidates need to run 1000 meters distance in 4 minutes 15 seconds while females candidates have to cover up the same distance in 5 minutes and 40 seconds. 

Age limit: Applicant’s age should be between 18 to 30 years for first two posts and 18 to 33 years for Multi Tasking Staff.

Application Forms for the posts can be filled using the online mode only through authoritative web portal dfccil.gov.in. Candidate belonging to UR/ OBC category need to pay Rs. 900/- for executive posts, RS. 700/- for Junior Executive posts and Rs. 500 for MTS/ Unskilled posts. SC/ST/PH/Ex. Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee payment.The fee must be deposited using online mode only. Once paid, fee will not be refunded in any condition.

Scheme Of CBT

For Executive: 

  • The test will completely be objective type.
  • A total of 120 questions will be positioned in the question paper out of which, 96 questions will be related to the post, 12 from general knowledge and remaining 12 from reasoning.

For Junior Executives:

  • Exam will contain multiple choice questions (total 120).
  • Standard of question paper will be as per educational qualifications.
  • Questions shall be based on General Knowledge/Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning, General Science and Technical ability. 
  • Total questions: 120 and topics – General Knowledge/Awareness, Mathematics and reasoning etc.
  • 1/4th mark will be deducted for wrong attempt.
