Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to conduct recruitment for 13 Statistical Inspector Posts in Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Subordinate Service, Tamil Nadu. TNPSC Statistical Inspector recruitment 2018 online application process has been commenced and eligible candidates can apply online till 11:59 PM on 26th September. Later on, no application would be accepted.

Applicants should enrol themselves for the recruitment through www.tnpsc.gov.in, www.tnpscexams.net or www.tnpscexams.in. Before filling up the application form, candidates have to go through One-Time Registration. Then, they have to upload scanned images of photograph, certificate required and signature.
Registration Fee: For one time registration, candidates have to pay Rs. 150/-.
Examination Fee:- Candidates need to pay Rs. 150/- at the time of submitting the online application for the recruitment.
- Examination Fee Concession: Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category, Differently Abled Persons, Most Backward Class/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (Those who have not availed three free chances in previous recruitments) and Ex-Servicemen (Those who have not availed two free chances in previous recruitments) are exempted from the examination fee payment.
Examination fee can be paid using Net banking/ credit card/ debit card or can be paid through offline mode at SBI/ Indian Bank within 2 days from the date of submission of online application.
Age Limit: Applicant’s age should not exceed the age of 30 years if belonging to the unreserved category. Upper age limit for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ MBC/ DC, BC, BCM and destitute widows of all castes is 58 years.
Educational Qualification: applicant must possess a graduation degree with Statistics or Maths as the main subjects recognised by the University Grants Commission.
Written examination for the vacant posts is scheduled to be conducted on 24th November 2018. There will two papers, Paper 1 (Subject Paper) would be held from 10 AM to 1 PM and Paper 2 (General Studies) would be arranged from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The paper 1 will be of 300 maximum marks while the paper 2 of 200 marks. Interview and records: 70 marks. It makes the whole procedure of 570 marks out of which, unreserved category candidates will have to score 228 to pass the test while candidates from SC/ ST/ MBC/ DC, BC and BCM need to score 171 marks to clear the test.
