The Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Maharashtra DMER released NEET merit list & DMER released First selection list today. Candidates who had qualified in the NEET exam can check the UG Selection list from the direct link provided below. Earlier, DMER had scheduled the release of selection list/ seat allotment list on 25th July.
The declaration of 1st selection list on 25th July for selection to Health Science courses is being postponed. The date of 1st selection list will be declared in due course on the website of DMER,” reads the notice undersigned by Director, Medical Education & Research, Mumbai, dated July 25 says official report.
DMER NEET First Selection List 2017:
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) & NEET PG for the postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves. However, many colleges and institutes have taken a stay order and conducted private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses.
As per the rules, a student is only considered for state quota if he/ she has taken both Class X and XII from that specific state. But, the Court had, earlier, relaxed the admission norms and allowed the students (who had taken Class XII from Maharashtra, but Class X from another State) to apply for admissions under State quota.
DMER NEET First Selection List 2017:
DMER is likely to release NEET 1st Selection list today. Candidates who had appeared can check the results from the direct link provided below. DMER decided to do away with the verification process and directly announce the first selection list on July 25. DMER had decided that the documents will be verified by individual colleges at the time of admission. DMER had verified documents of first 20,000 rank holders, out of all the applicants.
