Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board published a notice on its official website www.gseb.org. According to this notice, GSEB supplementary results (for SSC and HSC both) are declared but, these can be checked through offline mode. The supplementary exams results have not been made available online. To check marks, students need to reach their school/ institution affiliated to the board.
GSEB Supplementary Result 2018
Generally, the board issues result on the official website. Even, the board exam results of academic session 2017-18 were made accessible through online mode. Now, today, the administration issued a notification following which, students need to visit their institution and the results will be provided there.
For SSC (Secondary School Certificate), exams were held in the month of March and a total of 11,03,854 students have appeared for the tests. Out of which, 5,68,192 have passed the examination that made 67.5% which is 0.74% less than the previous year’s pass percentage (2017). But, the figure of students scored more than 90% has doubled. Last year, it was 3750 but for this session, it is 6378.
Savani Hil Ishwarbhai scored 594 out of 600 and secured first in the state board SSC examination. Second rank holder Ladani Krishi Himanshukumar scored 589 while Hingrajiya Priyalkumar Jitubhai (third ranked) secured 586 out of 600.
A total of 685462 male students appeared for the test out of which, 3,14,510 remarked as passed. The overall pass percentage for male students was 45.88% while same was 60.63% for girls. Total, 418392 female candidates appeared for the test out of which, 2,53,682 passed the examination.
6973 students were found involved in unfair practices out of which, 4,593 were male candidates while 2380 were female students.
HSC General stream result was announced. Total 3.35 lakh (regular) candidates appeared for Arts and Commerce stream board exams out of which 55.55% have cleared the examination. The examinations were conducted from March 12 to 28.
Around 1.35 lakh students have appeared for Science stream examinations of which, 57,734 were from A group, 76,888 candidates were from B group while only 19 students have appeared for group AB examinations. Results for this stream were announced on 10th May. Of the total, 73 percent students have cleared the examinations. And, 74.9% of girls appeared have qualified while 71 percent of total boys appeared for the tests cleared the exams.
