Cricket is definitely a gentlemen’s game. It is one of the sports that have a huge craze among people all over the world. After Football, Cricket is the most popular game in the world. And the game is growing at the time.
However, there will be good and bad in every aspect, even in cricket. Match-fixing is common in the world of cricket, but the recent case will leave your mouth opened. This shocking footage of a match in the UAE’s All-Time Ajman League (T20) had stuck the cricket world in silence.
It is the fourth match of the tournament between Dubai Stars and Sharjah Warriors, batsmen can be seen throwing their wickets away courtesy to bizarre run-outs and shocking dismissals. Few clips from the match went viral and everyone is shocked to see how predicted the batting looked.
Going in detail, Sharjah Warriors put a decent target of 136 runs on the board. Despite a low target in front, Dubai Stars were bundled out for just 46 runs as it looked like they are gifting their wickets away. The way they gave away wickets was simply unbelievable.
There were 4 run outs and 5 stumpings, which added to the disbelief. The way the batsmen got out showed that they were doing it on purpose.
