Aakash Chopra Tries To Mock David Warner Over His Indian Lookalike, Gets Trolled By Fans

Nowadays every popular sportsman, actor, artist, and politicians are using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to reach people. However, Twitter plays an important role in such cases, comparatively. Well! When it comes to the information that is shared, as far as it is good news, bad news, and a notification, it will be fine. But, when the situation turns out against you, then it is absolutely not good.

Commentator turned cricketer Aakash Chopra is well known as one of the most active Twitter users India has got. Time and again, he has come up with updates with his insights about the game. On most occasions, he has found good support from the fans for his analytical updates.

However, his most recent update, which was on the lighter side, saw him get trolled by the fans. But as Australian opener, David Warner is out of form and Aakash took this opportunity to subtly mock David Warner, but instead, his attempt backfired.

Aakash Chopra found a picture on the internet of a man who he believed was a lookalike of Australian opener David Warner. He was quick to share the picture on his official social media handle. “Hey @davidwarner31, you’ve got a twin brother in India, it seems,” tweeted Aakash Chopra.

This is another friendly Twitter banter in between the India-Australia series, as earlier, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh took a dig at former Australian captain Michael Clarke.

Perhaps, it was only Aakash who thought that the picture was a lookalike of David Warner. The fans certainly did not think in the same way. No wonder why they opted to troll the former Indian cricketer big time with their tweets.

Meanwhile, Aakash, who is a part of the commentary team for the ongoing India-Australia series, is often pretty accurate with his analogies. But, Twitterati does not agree with him on this one.

Twitter Reactions:

Men in Blue climbed to the top spot in ICC ODI rankings after defeating Australia in the third game. Next match is scheduled to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.
