WATCH VIDEO: Stand-In Skipper Ajinkya Rahane’s Bizarre Six Over The Keeper Puts A Smile On Kohli’s Face

It is well known that the current Team-India’s skipper Virat Kohli is away from the ongoing test series, though a majority of cricket buffs were worried about the game, the stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane is doing his best to fill the voids.

In a bid towards summing up the score on the Day 2 of the fourth and final Test against Australia, Rahane managed to hit some amusing shots. Especially, that over in which he leveled up the score with an unpredictable four and the impossible six.

Putting aside the general striking patterns during the Kohli’s captaincy, Rahane came on to the pitch in the center, after the fall of KL Rahul. It was precisely in the 41st over, he survived the second ball, a bouncer from Pat Cummins, then hit the next ball for a four. A deliberate shot over mid-wicket which was so flexible.

Right after this, he then tried to repeat the shot, but this time, the ball took the top edge and flew over the keeper’s head in a bizarre way, that ended up being the weirdest six of the innings.

This bizarre shot from the stand-in captain brought an instant smile on Virat Kohli’s face. One can even notice how surprised Sanjar Bangar is.
