SRH’s Ben Cutting hit the longest six of the IPL 2016 tournament in yesterday’s final between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In the last over of SRH batting innings, Ben Cutting was facing Shane Watson. The first ball was bowled wide to Cutting but he hit a boundary and the second ball was bowled a waist full toss which eventually resulted in longest six of the tournament.
The distance of the six was measured as 117m and it travelled over the rooftop of the Chinnaswamy Stadium. He played a quick-fire innings of 39 off 15 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes. Ben Cutting was given the Man of the Match for his efforts with the bat and also the ball with figures of 2/35 in his 4 overs.
