India Vs West Indies, 3rd Test – Day 4 Review: India Takes The Upper Hand On The Hosts

In the on-going Test series between India and West Indies, team India has been consistently performing well. The first test was comfortably won by India and the second test was drawn by West Indies. The third test was started with a bit of rain and after the disappointment of the third day’s play; team India saw its domination against the hosts.

Indian bowlers Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Ravi Ashwin had bowled brilliantly to cut down West Indies score to 225 all out. Bhuvi picked his third five-wicket haul in tests. He came with the skills and bowled that will make a case for him in the future matches.

Day-4 began where day-2 left off with the West Indies having a chance of taking upper hand against India. But all the expectations turned around for the hosts and lost their batsmen one by one very soon. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar bowling has taken the headlines on Day-4. Bhuvi went on to remove Samuels and Blackwood, each to a similar delivery.

Bhuvi completed his five-wicket haul as the Windies lost their last seven wickets for just 22 runs. Thus, team India claims a first-innings lead of 128. The Indians came out to bat with overs left on the day-4. Indian openers KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan lost their wickets quickly. Virat Kohli also followed them as he could not withstand the pace of Alzarri Joseph and Miguel Cummins.

Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma are batting on the crease at the end of Day-4 putting India on the lead of 285 runs.
