MS Dhoni Misjudges A Catch And Drops It, Virat Kohli Burst Out Into Laugh [WATCH VIDEO]
We all know that MS Dhoni is one of the best wicket-keepers in the world. But, have you ever seen him fielding? It is a sight which is not often seen on the cricket field.
In the second warm-up match between India and Bangladesh at the Oval, MS Dhoni was seen fielding in the outfield during the second innings as Dinesh Karthik was keeping instead. We had seen Dhoni taking some wonderful catches behind the stumps.
But it seems that former Indian captain Dhoni looked uncomfortable fielding instead of keeping. Dhoni had a rare moment of misfortune on the field when he misjudged a catch on the field.
The incident happened in the 23rd over when Hardik Pandya bowled a delivery outside the off stump to tail-ender Taskin Ahmed. He hit it over mid-wicket region but ended up getting a thick edge and slicing towards the third man.
Dhoni was standing in the gully region and he ran back in an attempt to take the catch. However, he completely misjudged it and the ball landed safely on the ground. Everyone saw the lighter side of it and had a laugh on their faces including Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

During the match, Dhoni was also seen carrying drinks for his teammates. In the match, Dhoni neither batted nor performed wicket-keeping. Neither captain Virat Kohli nor Dhoni came out to bat as they wanted the other batsmen to gain experience from the conditions ahead of the Champions Trophy main matches.
Earlier, team India scored 324 without Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Yuvraj batting. With the heroics of strong pace bowling unit, Bangladesh could only 84 all out.
Umesh Yadav and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar picked up 3 wickets each. Ashwin, Pandya, Bumrah and Shami picked one wicket each. India won the match by 240 runs against Bangladesh.
