His ways of blocking runs, stumping and clinching off wickets never go away, Dhoni is further bettering with time in the aspects of the game. Being the most experienced player, Captain Cool knows about Kieron Pollard more than anybody else. This time, Dhoni came up with a stellar tactic that he used against the Caribbean Pollard in 2010 season during his stint with Chennai Super Kings against Mumbai Indians and yes! it worked out so good once again.

Dhoni, this time, playing for RPS renounced the trick and suggested Smith the placement of fielders when Kieron Pollard arrived at the crease in 10.3 overs. Adam Zampa was the bowler and he was belted for a six in the very first ball.

Things turned upside down in the last ball of the over, Pollard hit straight to the long-on region which went like a tracer bullet and what happened next is the result of Dhoni’s tactic. Manoj Tiwary who was standing at that area took the catch comfortably in his safe pair of hands which was all part of Dhoni’s gameplan.
