Sources told Shams Charania of the Athletic’s that Enes Kanter and the Boston Celtics agree to a 2-year $10 Million deal with a player option.
The Boston Celtics lost Al Horford in the free agency yesterday as the All-Star Power Forward/Center signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics also traded Aron Baynes 2 weeks ago.
Enes Kanter played with the New York Knicks and the Portland Trail Blazers last season, he averaged 13.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in just playing 24.5 minutes per game.
The Celtics also lost Kyrie Irving in the Free Agency 2019 after he signed with the Brooklyn Nets, where the all-star point guard is teaming up with DeAndre Jordan and Kevin Durant.
In a text conversation with Marc J. Spears, Enes explained why he did not sign back with the Portland Trailblazers.
Kanter said that he was actually considering to sign with the Blazers but the team only gave him a couple of minutes to make the final decision.
Kanter is coming off a 4 year $70 Million contract that he got in 2015 when he was still playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
