Pakistan has been considered as the trademark of insecurity and restlessness, it might be a cricket tournament, an official continental meeting or even the mighty SAARC. People, in general, won’t prefer to put themselves in risks for an event.
Following the grandeur success of IPL season in India, Pakistan now came up with its version of cricket league ‘PSL, which means Pakistan Super League. Pakistan has been already trolled in every possible dimension on social media for its low budget plans that merely include sportsmen from few countries.
Just like the government’s events, many cricketers earlier refused to play in Pakistan, scared of the terrorist attacks.
Many prominent players already dropped down their jerseys for the finale, however, the payment and security system is not appreciable. Star players like Rilee Rossouw, Nathan McCullum, Tymal Mills and Kevin Pietersen has already opted out of the final. These gradual walkouts have been disappointing the local fans since the beginning of the event.
Meanwhile, England’s player Luke Wright who belongs to PSL’s team Quetta Gladiators, concerned about his family members denied to participate in the league and here’s what he said through his series of tweets, that read:
It’s with a heavy heart I will not be coming to Lahore. I have a young family and for me a game of cricket is just not worth the risk 1/3

I’m sorry as I know how much it means to you all and hopefully in the future the safety will not be in doubt to come play there. 2/3
