Pau Gasol, who is currently a free agent, is planning to return in the NBA and play his 19th NBA Season, he told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN on Monday.
Last season, Pau Gasol had a left ankle injury that let him miss 26 games with the San Antonia Spurs, but during an interview, the future Hall-of-Famer said that he is recovering pretty well.
He said, “My recovery from surgery has been smooth and I expect to be fully cleared for basketball activities in early August.”
He added, “I cannot wait to start training again.”
Pau started his 2018-2019 season with the San Antonio Spurs.
He was then sent to the Milwaukee Bucks, but due to a navicular stress fracture in his left foot, the 38-year-older only played 3 games for the team.
Gasol averaged 3.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 12 minutes per game in the previous season, this is currently the career lows of the former NBA Champion.
