Chris Gayle Does It Again, Lands into a New Controversy With Journalist Charlotte Edwards!

Chris Gayle, a hard-hitting Jamaican cricketer who had involved in a sexism scandal during the Big Bash in Australia, made headlines again on Saturday in an interview. While talking about Sex, Women and Equality, Gayle stated few statements and opened up regarding the issue with TV presenter McLaughlin.

Gayle boasted about his “very, very big bat” and asked journalist Charlotte Edwards if she had ever had a threesome. The interview is likely to provoke the reaction from cricketing circles and beyond. Chris Gayle said that “Women enjoy more than equality and also insisted that his countrymen take a relaxed view about sex.”

He said “women should have and did have equality. “They have more than equality. Women can do what they want. Jamaican women are very vocal. They will let you know what time is it, for sure.”

Gayle also stated that ‘Women 10,000 women will throw themselves at me, explaining the fact that he was damn good looking.’

He even boasted about having “a very, very big bat, the biggest in the world”, adding, “You think you could lift it? You’d need two hands.”

Gayle now has a baby daughter with Natasha Berridge, his girlfriend of 10 years. He said he would change a nappy, but on cooking, “no”, and cleaning: “That is not going to happen.” When asked if he threw himself at women, he replied: “Your questions, you suck me dry.”

When asked about flirting Australian TV Anchor, Gayle said “It was a joke. She knew that. That’s who I am, the joker.”

The left-hander, who has a book out next month called “Six Machine”, has set several records across the different formats of cricket. “That’s how it comes across: lazy. But to score a triple century, that’s not lazy. You cannot be lazy and do such things.”
