This Twitter User Called Harbhajan Singh ‘Old Dog’ & ‘Fool’, Demanded His Retirement, Check out How Bhajji Replied

Despite his absence in the Internation cricket, ace Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh is often on news for other reasons. Twitter has become a vital medium behind his existence on news. His tweets, replies, and comments on the cricket fraternity are no way less than roping in any controversies.

In any sense, Bajji always makes sure of his presence on social media handles. He is currently representing Punjab in the Ranji Trophy 2017, so, shared a picture of him bowling in the nets on November 22. However, it did not go well as one of the Twitter users went on to ask the off-spinner to realize that his days of making a comeback in the national team are over and he should not make a fool of himself.

Meanwhile, when it comes to cricket, Harbhajan is long way gone. With the entry of amazing new bowlers, the competition turned out to be tough and Bhajji is kept aside. Last time, the 37-year-old spinner was seen in Indian jersey was in 2016 in a T20I match against UAE. However, he has not featured in Tests or ODIs since 2015.

Amidst the criticism on his efforts on making a comeback, one of the Twitter user commented on his recent pic, he wrote, “As the saying goes “U can’t teach an old dog new tricks” Bhajji ur best days r over realize it n call it a day.Retire with grace from international cricket.Don’t make a fool of yourself like some of your predecessors.is all I can say. (sic)”.

This tweet has totally irked Bhajji, and this time, he gave it back to him. He on his Twitter handle replied, “Old dog like u can only bark..so plz continue to do that.this is what u have learned I think all ur life..you have already lost the battle coz u have given up on learning new things.every day there is a new thing to learn. Provided we want to learn.dont teach others ur ways.”

As of now, Harbhajan has played in 103 Tests for India, and he has taken 417 wickets in the longest format while the member of the 2011 World Cup winning team, has taken 269 wickets in 236 ODIs. he has also played in 28 T20Is and has 25 wickets to his name.
