Ace Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, dearly called as Bajji, he might be off the ground for now, but the player is often in touch with his fellow players, keeps updating things day-to-day on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Twitter has obviously been bridging the gaps between the players and fans time-to-time. We are now getting to know the insights of our favorite players on this social media platform. Out of many players in TeamIndia, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jadeja, Dhawan, and Harbhajan are some of few who are quite active on this platform. Today, it is Bajji’s tweet was in the news.
India is famous for its cultures and festivals. Thus, there are many festivals according to the religion. But there are people who don’t believe in unity in diversity and indulge in showing hate for other communities and religion.
Even celebrities are not spared. Something similar happened with Harbhajan Singh when he posted the pictures of his wife, Geeta Basra, celebrating Karwa Chauth.
Here’s what Harbhajan Singh Tweeted. Bhajji wrote, “Happy karwa chaouth biwi @Geeta_Basra now Khao piyo moaj Karo I am sure badi bukh Lagi hogi.”

However, there are some people who thought that it’s their responsibility to tell Bhajji that he shouldn’t have celebrated Karwa Chauth because it’s not a Sikh festival or custom. Soon Harbhajan’s tweet got flooded with hate comments.
Twitter Reactions:

It is annoying to see people reacting to such things even in 2017, instead of feeling proud of the diversity of India. What do you say? Share your views with us in the comments section below.
