Hardik Pandya’s Sixer Injured A Spectator As The Ball Landed On His Face Injuring Him Badly In Yesterday’s Match

Cricketer Hardik Pandya, much acclaimed as the new Indian rock star of the game is now more popular for all good reasons. His recent advent into test and a century in the very debut match is all that India has always needed. It was the final match of Champions Trophy that makes him favorite for so many cricketers and fans fortnight.

Pandya is now showing some promising stats in both bowling and batting placing himself as one of the best all-rounders India can ever have. However, there are many things which we are keen to have an insight on. His hairstyles, tattoos and aggressive attitude on the field are all that must be known at the moment.

Australia broke India’s appreciative 9-match winning streak during the fourth ODI at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy stadium. Though Indian squad did well throughout the innings, it was Australia’s tough bowling that blocked India’s score from breaching the massive 334.

The hosts started the chase extremely well with Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma put up a fantastic opening stand. Rahane looked in great touch and so did Rohit. Both of them brought up their fifties as they put up a century run stand.

India was looking in control just when Rahane perished for a score of 53 and that brought an end to their 106-run stand. After a mishap of Virat and Rohit between the wickets that cost Rohit run-out, Hardik joined Virat. The all-rounder was in good swing hitting the ball whenever he faces a loose delivery.

Tosit Agrawal’s (24) passion for cricket turned into a nightmare when all-rounder Hardik hit a six and the ball landed on his face, injuring him in the low six and the ball landed lower lip and teeth.

Tosit works for Steel Authority of India Ltd. He was watching the match at Pavilion 1 of Chinnaswamy Stadium.

“He sustained cuts, measuring 3cm x 1cm, just below the lower lip and lower teeth. The central teeth in the lower jaw had become loose and he was rushed to Hosmat Hospital for treatment. He was trying to avoid the ball but couldn’t gauge its speed. He is out of danger but will need stitches,” Dr. Ajith Benedict told.
