It almost appears like Indian women squad is going to make an advertisement with Flipkart. It all started with Indian skipper Mithali Raj, now vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur is following the similar fashion.
Soon after Mithali Raj, well known for her audacious shots and gallant fifties, is on news, Indian team’s new favorite Harmanpreet Kaur is in the same lane. While both stated on their respective Twitter selfie videos about the condition of their mobiles, roughly can be called: millennial problems. Both of them proved their best in the epic journey towards the World Cup finals.
While Harmanpreet Kaur stands as the Indian player to have the highest individual score in World Cup. Mithali Raj with more than 5000 runs in limited overs cricket and record scores, will forever remain as the landmark for Indian Women cricket history.
Now, that both are relaxing at their native cities, Hyderabad and Amritsar respectively. The players are after the innings moments they had during the World Cup. Firstly, ‘Captain Cool’ has stated on her Twitter handle about the problem she is facing with her mobile which is quite common with almost every common man.
She, in her video, went saying,”I watch videos of all my matches again and again because I believe there is always room for improvement. So whenever I get time, I will rib off my phone and watch matches. Few overs in, like seven, eight, my phone gives up on me, just like that, gets switched off, its soo irritating, I mean what’s the point of having all the technology if the battery doesn’t allow me to use it?”
She captioned it, “I wish my phone battery could last at least one innings.” with hashtag ‘millennial problems’.
Now, soon after acknowledging this video, Flipkart checked-in to rescue the captain, they gave a heart-warming reply to her video, made a kind gesture.
Flipkart authorities mentioned that they are huge fans of Mithali Raj and wish to help her in this. They went commenting, “We as your huge fan, want nothing to come in your way. Check out the new kid on the block, arriving on Aug 1st, 2 PM on @Flipkart #GoBeyond.”
Now soon after Flipkart has offered something to Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur in a similar fashion went tweeting about the same, she in her Twitter went saying, “After this good performance, I have to see the highlights in smaller screen, I can’t even understand who hit a four, or who hit a sixer.”
The way she captioned it is all enough to understand the wittier side of Kaur, she quoted: “When you want to feel good about yourself but your phone makes you feel small. #MillennialProblems @Flipkart do you have anything in mind?”
And yes! Flipkart has a similar gift for Harmanpreet too.
