The ongoing ICC Champions Trophy is underway and every team is half-way through to the semi-final stage of the competition. Out of eight teams, one team has already been confirmed its way to the semi-finals and itโs the host team England.
On the other, Group B is a fix after all the teams have won a game each. For all the four teams, the next for them is a do or die match. As team India had a comprehensive win over their arch-rival Pakistan, if India could have won the match against Sri Lanka in their second fixture, they might have sealed their spot in the semi-final of the tournament.
Whereas Pakistan had won their second match against Proteas as the match resulted in D/L method. South Africa also won a match against Sri Lanka and now all the teams in Group B had one win and one loss.
In this regard, the International Cricket Council had tweeted a photo with aย Sri Lankanย fielder failing to keep pace with the shot from the Indian batsmen.
