Twitter has definitely bridged the gap between the celebrities and their fans or followers. Live sessions on both Facebook and Twitter are quite keen in building the relationship between both sectors of people. Popular sportspersons often crave to build the bonding with their fans and social media is successful in filling the gaps.
But, these days, people are taking advantage of the feasibility, posting some derogatory and distasteful tweets when their idol’s way of dressing is against their notions, fat-shaming, slut-shaming, and skin-shaming, what not? these days, people were slammed on social media even for playing Chess (Kaif’s case).
Now, the case is very different, though Twitter is the medium of abuse and criticism, the context is pretty different. Two-time Olympian and renowned Badminton player Jwala Gutta is now bashed on Twitter, just because her mother is Chinese origin. With the ongoing rough clash in between India and China, the Twitter user went taking a dig at the star. His comments on the latest video uploaded by her featuring her mom and sister are quite mundane.
The video was shared by her back on 11th July, it now surfaced the Internet for the awkward comments. In the video, Gutta is seen singing an English song with her sister, her mother Yelen Gutta is also seen at the end of the clip. This user went commenting that she belongs to China and is anti-national and anti-Modi. He called her ‘Chinese’.
Infuriated by these comments, Jwala went asking the user about his problem, without bothering the question, he further made offensive comments.
The 33YearOld even warned the user ‘Think twice before you talk”, it appears that he barely looked or understood her, he went saying, “Is it because ur mother is from China that’s y u oppose Modi every time?”.

It started when he first made allegations on Jwala calling her anti-national,
The involvement of parents simply heated the conversation, she simply warned the user to shut up there itself.
With her adamant stand, Jwala then decided to post an all time warning for the trollers out there, she posted a one-liner for all those who keep doing this, so, for those jobless tweeple, that’s Jwala’s message for you.
Bewkoof logo ki kami bilkul Nahi hai!! 😏

It would be great if people stop bashing the celebrities in this way, cornering them taking one aspect and making fun out of them is more saddening.
