Kevin Durant can return for the GSW in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals

Kevin Durant has been sidelined for almost a month now due to a calf injury and on Sunday, the 2 time NBA Champion was involved in the team practice, it is rumored that the Superstar could play in the Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

The Toronto Raptors are currently leading the series by 3-1, and if the GSW lose Game 5, it would be their last game of the season.

Kawhi Leonard is on his way to help bring the Raps their first ever NBA Title.

During an interview with Steve Kerr, he said, “The mood is good. We’ve still got plenty to play for. We have an amazing opportunity and challenge. We’re going to do everything we can to meet that challenge. We’re excited about it.”

The Golden State Warriors are looking to have threepeat, but it looks like the Toronto Raptors are on their way to shut their dreams off.

In the history of NBA, only one team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit, the Cleveland Cavaliers, which was led by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, did the impossible in the 2016 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Klay Thompson said that we will “see a resilient Warrior team” in game 5 of the NBA Finals.

He added, “We’ve had our backs against the wall before. It’s a little more daunting being down 3-1, but usually, when our backs are against the wall, we respond the best.”

The Golden State Warriors have struggled to win in this series without Kevin Durant. They had an outstanding run in the Western Conference Finals against the Portland Trailblazers, where they won the series 4-0.

Earlier Steve Kerr, the Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors, said that Kevin Durant could potentially play in the series just after one practice.

The GSW could become a different team with KD back in their lineup.
