Twitter has become a great platform for many celebrities and cricketers to share some friendly and hilarious banter nowadays. We often see some celebrities indulging in some twitter chats with their counterparts and spread some fun to their fans.

Coming to the point, it is nothing new to gift someone on his/her birthday but have you ever heard anyone gifting a toothbrush on somebody’s birthday?

Well, Kevin Pietersen, the British cricket player, just gave a toothbrush to his Australian counterpart, James Faulkner, as a present on his birthday on 28th April. Yes, this delightful Twitter banter between good friends Kevin Pietersen and James Faulkner will make you go ROFL.

It all started with the 34-year-old English batsman Kevin announcing about his gift on Twitter and later had a friendly chat with Faulkner in which he said that someone had been kind to him by gifting him toothbrush.

Here is tweet:

He tweeted, “Happy birthday @JamesFaulkner44. Hope you have a wonderful day & that someone has been kind to you by gifting you a toothbrush.”

But James was already prepared to answer KP in a humorous style. He asked KP to “throw some toothpaste”,

But Kevin was in full mood to hit a yorker for six! He tweeted, “I’ll get the toothpaste mate! That someone needs to be able to afford a container full…!”

In reply, Faulkner again tweeted mentioning a tweet himself as greatest of all time. Faulkner tweeted, “Sponsorship ?”

However, at last, it was Kevin who had all the fun when he wrote, “You’re sponsored with my friendship!”

This was not for the first time that they both were pulling each other’s legs and earlier also when they were playing in Big Bash League in 2015, Faulkner made a tweet with a picture of Kevin, saying that Kevin’s legs need more space.

Now, this is what we call sportsman spirit and true friendship, really cute guys…
