Yesterday, in the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders, a moment took place where the RCB players couldn’t believe it on the field after Yusuf was adjudged not out by the umpire. It was a clear inside edge of the bat before it was caught by the wicketkeeper Kedar Jadhav.
Defending a low total of 158, Kohli and team were blown away by the Sunil Narine-Chris Lynn opening stand. However, the hosts fought back by taking four quick wickets to give themselves an outside chance of the match.

The incident happened during the 14th over when KKR were 156/4 needing 3 runs to win the game. Yusuf Pathan picked the fourth ball of 14th over, bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal. The ball has been bowled a googly that was way outside off and Pathan had a go at it and he got a faint bottom edge. Towards the end of the match, an umpire goof-up denied a genuine wicket.
Chris Gayle and Yusuf Pathan had a few words among themselves in goo spirit before things cooled down.

Virat Kohli and Co. were disappointed and looked baffled against the on-field umpire’s decision. RCB skipper Virat Kohli showed his darker side after the decision against them. An enraged Kohli charged towards the umpire, even as his team-mates showed their disapproval of the verdict. As it happened, replays showed Pathan getting a huge under-edge.
