If there’s something that never misses to amuse us all the time, then it is Team India’s skipper Virat Kohli. He smashed an another double century breaking all the existing records history ever had. Kohli is the only player to hit four double-centuries in the consecutive four test series.
He achieved this incomparable feat within seven months, which he started in June 2016. Kohli scored his fourth double century for India against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on Friday. That is just seven months! Four double centuries in just seven months and Kohli has done that gracefully.
Earlier there were varying opinions regarding the Kohli’s standards in the long format cricket, as he has been playing amazing innings in all the one-day cricket matches. However, Kohli didn’t give a chance to people to let him down, his patience, aggressive game and the managing strategies are something that makes him an everlasting star of the new era cricket.
Kohli is now the second captain to hit four double-centuries. The first captain is Donald Bradman.
He made his double century debut against West Indies. He hit the plate with exact 200 run mark. Then again New Zealand, Kohli scored his next double ton. In the last series against England, he scored his third double century. And now against Bangladesh.
With 111 runs on Thursday he continued with the equal grace and may be more on Friday, however, there is no bowler to trouble him and this made him grab an another 2double century, precisely 222 runs.
However, T Islam took his wicket with the first ball of 125th over, which is LBW.
