Michael Irvin, a Hall of Fame receiver announced that he is now cancer-free after the results of his tests came back.
On a post that was made by Irvin on Instagram, he said, “Thank you, God for continuing to answer prayers and thank you all for praying. I spoke with Dr. St John at UCLA Medical and she has informed me that all (tests) have come back 100 percent clean. No cancer! It is impossible to express my family and my appreciation for the overwhelming outpour of love, support, and prayers.”
Michael Irvin, The Cowboys Legend announced that he was undergoing tests on Wednesday after going through throat issues for months.
He said that he was frightened by the situation after he lost his father to cancer.
Michael Irvin works as an analyst for the National Football League Network.
53-year-old Michael Irvin was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007, he totaled 750 catches, 11,904 yards, and 65 touchdowns during his career in the National Football League.
He played in the NFL for 12 seasons.
