A few days ago, Indian Women’s cricket captain Mithali Raj was trolled brutally for doing something we were born with a right to do. The right to pick her choice to wear and what she wanted to wear. The 34-year-old has a long list of achievements to her name and has bagged quite a lot of titles.
Mithali Raj’s trolling proved that nothing matters to the online moral policing. Starting with her answer to “Women’s cricket captain Mithali Raj hits back when asked about her ‘favorite male cricketer’” she never left a stone unturned in taking a dig at her critics and trollers.
A similar thing knocked Mithali’s door once again, she shared a picture on her Twitter handle. Recently, Mithali Raj posted a picture with her girls on social networking website Twitter. It looked as a beautiful picture as all the ladies are smiling.

A Twitter user replied doing moral policing about Mithali’s dress. Well, that is distasteful, it would have been great if he made some positive comment. It’s the women public figures who mostly fall victim to online trolling and body shaming.
Earlier, on Friday, Women activists too extended their support for the 34-year-old cricketer. Mariya Alam Umar said, “It is an insult to a woman and a player. What kind of a culture are these people presenting by posting such dirty comments? Nobody has the right to interfere in her personal life.”
Indian woman wrestler Vinesh Phogat has come out in support of Mithali Raj raising a question.
Why is it that only women are always questioned on what they wear. Why not men?? When will this change? #everydaysexism #MithaliRaj 😏😡

Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa also has stepped down into the issue, he supported the player, took a lit dig at the commentators. He literally called the trollers- silly minds.
Mithali Raj being treated badly by some silly minds. It’s disappointing to see our culture stuck in the same rut @M_Raj03 #MithaliRaj pic.twitter.com/VgdOdoxdoX

Finally, Mithali too has responded to the troll and Twitter is loving her reply! She shared another pic of herself in a dress in which even her neck is not visible or is completely wrapped up in the dress. She posted the photo with a caption, “I keep my focus, work hard and do my best!”

Twitterati started praising the Indian skipper for her reply. Check out some hilarious tweets:
Yes you did and you will do always.
Thanks for being the captain of India.
We are proud to get such a leader like you.✌👍✨— Er. Somu (@djsoumo) September 11, 2017

However, there were few who didn’t miss this chance to troll her once again!
So why explaining and distributing.

This isn’t the first time Mithali has been at the receiving end of sexist comments on Twitter. In August, some tried to troll her for posting a picture at a function where she had sweaty armpits. However, she then shut down the moral policing with a mouth-shutting reply.
That was a good response Mithali. We would love to see more good performances from you on the field.
