Mohammad Kaif, well known as India’s then one of the possible best fielders India has ever got has now opened up about his views on Pakistan team’s fielding capabilities. Taking into account the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2017 India’s debut match against Pakistan, this former player took on to his Twitter handle in a bid to express his thoughts.

However, as per the match, it was so far a good day for India, the batsmen did their best with every player fetching at least 50 runs for the team’s total. All together managed, to sum up, the total to 319 runs within 48 overs losing 3 wickets. This is so far the best performance despite the continuous interruptions in the match.In an encounter frequently interrupted by rain.

With a dominating score of 173 by losing the only wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Indian openers laid a solid platform for the likes of Kohli, Yuvraj, MS Dhoni, and Hardik Pandya. They put on a vital partnership 0f 136 runs in 148 runs.

Interestingly it was the Pakistani players themselves who assisted the Indian openers is raising the partnership bars by missing some easy catches.

A similar thing happened earlier when India met Pakistan in a high-pressure semi-final at Mohali during the World Cup of 2011,  Sachin Tendulkar went on to score a match-winning 85 off 115 balls. Sachin was dropped on four occasions in his knock and India went on to progress to the finals of the World Cup.
