Watch: MS Dhoni Gets Bowled In Yesterday’s Match, But Still Gets A Boundary

The second ODI between India and England at Cuttack looked like a perfect game for the former skipper MS Dhoni. Vintage Dhoni was on display in his innings of 134 against England in the second ODI at Cuttack. Dhoni and Yuvraj are back with bashing 100’s, and their partnership is eye feast to the fans.

Both the batsmen did not let anybody down, and a spectacular show was on display for the fans to watch. Batting together, the duo added 256 runs in 230 deliveries for the 4th wicket. Yuvraj’s knock saw him score 150 off 127 balls. MSD hammered 134 off 122 deliveries and scored a century after almost three years.

An unexpected incident happened in the second match of the ongoing One-Day International (ODI) series between India and England. England’s fast bowler Liam Plunkett overstepped, and a free-hit was awarded to India. The incident occurred in the 44th over, and MS Dhoni was on strike when Plunked bowled a full delivery that despite hitting the stumps went for four runs.

It was given as 4 byes by the umpire and India had 4 runs credited to their account despite the batsman being bowled. As the rule says, because it was a free-hit and the only way a batsman can get out on free hit is by getting himself run-out, 4 byes were added to India’s total.
