Dhoni stepped down as Indian team’s limited-overs captaincy in January but he remains hugely popular with the Indian cricket fans. Dhoni paid his former teammate Virender Sehwag a visit at the latter’s school, Sehwag International School in Jhajjar, Haryana on Friday.
Sehwag was grateful to Dhoni for gracing his school and thanked him for coming over in front of a large audience comprising students and teachers. “I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he said.

Dhoni shared some of his memories as a school boy and narrated stories of leading India to many memorable victories. He was also seen giving some invaluable wicketkeeping tips to some of the students.
Dhoni before beginning his interaction with the students said his busy schedule did not allow him to visit the school before. “I was supposed to come here more than a year back, but due to busy personal and cricket schedule I could not come,” Dhoni said.
“Finally, Viru Pa said third you have to come here and I obliged. It is pleasure being here,” MSD added as he began his interaction with the students. Apart from this MS Dhoni also shared some rare and funny incident happened at the time of 2011 World Cup. He shared the incident happened at the airport where a fan asked him to win against Pakistan.

Sehwag thanked Dhoni for encouraging the students of his school and said that it was a day to remember for all those who were present. Sehwag too was grateful to former captain for his visit and thanked him. “I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Sehwag said.
