Leander Paes after Winning the mixed doubles Wimbledon 2015 title was overwhelmed with greetings , his celebrations become more special when world number one Novak Djokovic bumped in the middle of an interview and congratulated the Indian tennis legend while he was speaking to Media.
“Nole well done champion you inspired me today brother, Paes said while talking to channel and pointed that there is men’s singles champion Novak Djokovic, it’s a real delight what an amazing human being he is, to come up there and handle the pressure on SW19 none other than the greatest of all time Roger Federer.
“As he drives by in his car he is heading to Wimbledon bowl, just took his time to say congratulations, this is a what champion made of, they not only win great championships and win great titles and conquer the world but they are also great human being, a big shout out for my great friend Novak Djokovic for fabulous Wimbledon crown again,” Paes signed off.
A vintage Paes clinched his 16th Grand Slam trophy with legendary Martina Hingis after a dominating win over Alexander Peya and Timea Babos on Sunday.It was Paes’ eighth mixed doubles title and second with Hingis. They had won the Australian Open early this year. 42-year-old Paes has eight men’s doubles crowns in his Grand Slam collection.
